Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Business Hub Mallorca collects on businesshubmallorca.com: why, on what legal basis, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

Who is responsible

Business Hub Mallorca S.L., CIF B16356669, registered office Puig des Castellet 1, 07180 Santa Ponsa, Mallorca, Spain (office: Joaquim Fuster 95, 07006 Palma de Mallorca), is the controller for this website and for the messages, chats and partner applications handled through it. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Torben Aagaard is responsible for data protection and answers every request personally: taa@businesshubmallorca.com.

Do not share sensitive details in the chat. Instant answers are written by an AI model from our own pages; a person reads the conversation only if you choose “Let’s talk” or if it is needed to improve the answers.

Who we share it with

We never sell personal data and do not use it for advertising. We share it only where needed for the purposes above:

Service providers who process data on our instructions under a data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28): website hosting, email, our database and automation tools, and the AI model that writes the instant chat answers.
Partners in the Homebase network, only when you ask us to put you in touch, and only what they need to answer you.
Mallorca Homebase S.L., our Mallorca site, when your message is about a home or a service in Mallorca and you want help with it.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EU

Your data is processed under EU law (GDPR), with a data processing agreement for every supplier. Some of our suppliers, for example for databases, automation and AI, may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. Write to taa@businesshubmallorca.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version is published here with a new date.
